Happy New Year, Everyone!
God loves you. God seems to been inspiring us to remind you that He knows you and sees you with His loving kindness. He knew you from the before the beginning of time. You are wanted, needed, loved.
Our next Eucharistic miracle occurred a little over 100 years ago in the Caribbean Islands, in Martinique. On May 8, 1902, a volcano erupted. The people of the village of Morne-Rouge rushed to the local church to ask Our Lady to pray to God for protection. There, when the Blessed Sacrament was exposed for adoration, some people could see the Face of Jesus, some His Sacred Heart, and some the Precious Blood. This could be seen for several hours. Many people reconciled themselves to Jesus and "were prepared to die in the state of grace." The village was spared while surrounding communities were not. Later, in August 1902, another eruption engulfed also the village of Morne-Rouge.
Go forth in the power of God. September 7, 2025. The Canonization of Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati. In his homily, Pope Leo XIV said, "The greatest risk in life is to waste it outside of God's plan." The Pope said also, "He [Jesus] calls us to abandon ourselves without hesitation to the adventure that he offers us." The Pope reminded us to ask, "Lord, what do you want me to do?" (Emphasis added.)
