The Virgin's Love for Us. In Medjugorje, the Virgin Mary continually reminds us to "Pray, pray, pray!" She tells us also of her great love and concern for us. She reminds us that She is always present to intercede and assist us in doing God's will when we call upon Her. Her most recent message (dated 10/25/2015) in part proclaims, "Rejoice in the love, little children, that in the eyes of God you are unrepeatable and irreplaceable, because you are God´s joy in this world. Witness peace, prayer and love." God loves you, and Mary loves you dearly.

The corporal works of mercy:
- Feed the hungry
- Give drink to the thirsty
- Clothe the naked
- Shelter the homeless
- Visit the sick
- Visit the imprisoned (another sources says to "ransom the captive")
- Bury the dead
- Admonish the sinner
- Instruct the ignorant (uninformed)
- Counsel the doubtful
- Comfort the sorrowful
- Forgive all injuries
- Bear all wrongs patiently
- Pray for the living and the dead
