Hello Everyone,
And a special "hello" to our visitors from the past 30 days, from France, Russia, Turkey, and the United States.
Praise Report. Last time, close to Pentecost Sunday, we invited people to pray a novena for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. One of the results is that Mary's Missionaries became aware of a recently published book entitled, Holy Spirit 101: Unlock the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, by Victoria Harris. Mary's Missionaries are particularly pleased because this is the first publication that we know of that speaks to the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and has the 'nihil obstat' and 'imprimatur.'* Many thousands of lay and ordained Catholics the world over, especially through the intercession of Mary, have experienced an outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and many miraculous healings and new-found freedoms. And this movement shows no sign of stopping. However, there are some very devout Catholics who find this movement challenging to accept. This book gives a "green stamp of approval" that can be used as a tool to assist those persons overcome those challenges in their minds and hearts.
*Basically, this means the publication has been found to be free from doctrinal error and given permission to distribute and teach.

Another Praise Report. New Marian Feast Day. Pope Francis recently announced a new feast day in the Catholic Church. Starting this year, the Church celebrated the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church. This memorial is to be celebrated each year on the Monday following Pentecost Sunday. For more, please see Vatican News at https://www.vaticannews.va/en/pope/news/2018-03/pope-institutes-new-celebration-of-mary--mother-of-church.html.
Did you know? One main thing Christians and Muslims have in common is that we believe in the virginal motherhood of Mary. The esteemed position of Mary in the Muslim faith comes from this knowledge that Jesus Himself was born by a virgin woman, Mary. See https://www.ewtn.com/library/mary/marykran.htm for a bit more information.
It seems God blessed this common understanding among the faiths. In 1968 in Cairo, Egypt, Mary appeared in radiant white above a (Coptic) Catholic church. She appeared to all of the people in the area, which included the Coptic Catholics and Muslims. Photographs were able to be taken of this phenomena; a person may search for more online and in publications.
Mary invites all of us to come to Her to ask Her to show us how to live in love and peace. We are all Her children, and She loves us dearly. She has much power to pray to God for us, today as when She lived on earth.
Mary reminds us that the most powerful weapon to obtain peace is not one of violence: It is the rosary.
God bless you.
