The battle against satan - Sacrament of Reconciliation

Hello Everyone!

Our next Eucharistic miracle comes from Ludbreg, Croatia:  "During Mass at Ludbreg in 1411, a priest doubted whether the Body and Blood of Christ were really present in the Eucharistic species. Immediately after being consecrated, the wine turned into Blood. Today the precious relic of the miraculous Blood still draws thousands of the faithful, and every year at the beginning of September the so-called 'Sveta Nedilja - Holy Sunday' is celebrated for an entire week in honor of the Eucharistic miracle that occurred in 1411. Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Go to the sacrament of Reconciliation!  Why is Reconciliation so important?  We are all sinners and have a need for God's forgiveness.  Reconciliation is so freeing!  Sin makes us slaves to created things.  The sacrament of Reconciliation frees us from this enslavement and gives us the grace to be stronger and wiser each time we are faced with temptation in the future.  It provides graces to do, and even to want to do, the will of God.  It also helps us to see our hidden idols.  It keeps us humble.  Reconciliation restores right relationship with God - He loves us so much and wants to protect, love, guide and use us for His great plans.  Remember also that we are (out of love and mercy of God) commanded to go to Confession at least once yearly.  (Please note that during Covid there may be exemptions from attending at present; please read the guidelines from the Pope and your local bishop.)

Watch in particular for these sins:  "Pope Francis has been very specific about the types of sins that are most destructive to our lives, families and parishes, the sins of jealousy, envy, gossip and slander, which he sees are clear signs of the influence of the devil." God bless your day.
