Our next Eucharistic miracle occurred in Benningen, Germany in the year 1216 A.D. As the story goes, two millers argued a lot. One of them stole a consecrated host and hid it among the stones of the miller "with the intent of slandering him." On the feast of St. Gregory the host began to bleed so much that the community and bishop became aware of it. The miller who stole the host confessed and repented.
