Novena to Our Lady of Fatima

Hello Everyone,

Today's Eucharistic miracle is from Cascia, Italy in the year 1330.  "A gravely ill peasant called the priest to receive Communion.  The priest, partly through carelessness and partly through apathy, instead of taking with himself the ciborium to carry the Eucharist to the house of sick man, took a Host and placed it irreverently in a prayer book. When he reached the peasant the priest opened the book and with astonishment saw that the Host was transformed into a clot of blood and the pages
of the book were marked." Http://www.therealpresence.org/eucharst/mir/english_pdf/Cascia.pdf
Novena to Our Lady of Fatima.  As you know, next year (2017) is the 100-year anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady in Fatima, Portugal.  To help prepare for this great event persons are invited to pray the following for nine days in a row:

"Most Holy Virgin, who came to Fatima to reveal to the three little shepherds the treasures of graces hidden in the praying of the Rosary, inspire our hearts with a sincere love of this devotion, so that by meditating on the mysteries of our redemption that are recalled in it, we may gather the fruits and obtain the conversion of sinners, the conversion of Russia, and this favor that I so earnestly seek, (mention your request) which I ask of you in this novena, for the greater glory of God, for your own honor, and for the good of all people.  Amen."  (Then pray the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be three times each.)"

Mercy Moment.  In remembrance of this Year of Mercy, we recall an excerpt from The Poem of the Man God Volume 3 (Maria Valtorta on 27-Nov-1945):

"Not even your enemy is to be hated. Not even a very small inlet is to be opened to anything that is not God. After the first element, others opposed to God would enter. Sometimes one perishes or is defeated, because one wants to fight enemies with equal weapons. And once you have been defeated, you could by contact absorb their doctrine. Be charitable and reserved."
