Fatima Story, continued

Hello Everyone,

Our next Eucharistic miracle is from the 1900's.  Theresa Neuman, "mystic, stigmatist and victim soul," lived only on the Eucharist from 9/30/1927 to her death on 9/18/1962.  She took no other food or drink during that time.  Please read about her (and other mystics if you like) at the following link:  http://www.mysticsofthechurch.com/2009/12/therese-neumann-mystic-victim-soul.html.

The Story of Fatima, Portugal - Recounting the Events in honor of the 100th Anniversary in 2017.
Continued.

Last time we spoke of the beginning of the events at Fatima.  Lucia (in 1915 at age 8) and her girlfriends had been visited by "a cloud in a form like that of a man."  That "white figure appeared twice again to them."  The children were impressed, but the significance of this "diminished with time."

It wasn't until a year later that Lucia (now with her two younger cousins, Jacinta and Franciso) was visited again by a living being.  The three children were tending sheep, playing games, eating lunch and praying their daily Rosary.

Lucia later writes, "a strong wind shook the trees, and made us raise our eyes to see what was happening, for the day was serene.  There above the trees...we began to see a light, whiter than snow.  It was in the form of a young man, transparent, more brilliant than a crystal pierced by the rays of the sun....  He came near us and said:  'Fear not!  I am the Angel of Peace.  Pray with me!'"  The children imitated the angel and bowed very low.

Three times the angel prayed,

"My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love Thee.
I ask pardon for all those who do not believe in These,
do not adore Thee, do not hope in Thee, do not love Thee."

Then the angel arose and said, "Pray this way.  The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplications."  Then the angel left them.
