Fatima - The Sixth Apparition - October 13, 1917 - Part 2

Hello Everyone,

And a welcoming hello to our visitors from the past 30 days, from France, Germany, Morocco, and the Philippines.

The next two Eucharistic miracles appear on the same document by therealpresence.org.

Dronero, Italy.  In 1631, a young farm girl, foolishly kindled a fire with dry hay. Because of a heavy wind, the fire spread to the town of Dronero. Every attempt to extinguish the flames proved useless. A Capuchin friar, Maurice da Ceva, inspired by his great love of the Blessed Sacrament took the monstrance containing the large Host from the Church of St. Brigid and in procession walked to where the fire was raging. The fire at once subsided.”

San Mauro la Bruca, Italy. In 1969 unknown thieves secretly entered the church and stole several
sacred objects - one was the pyx (ciborium) that contained consecrated Hosts. The thieves threw the Hosts aside; a child discovered them. The Hosts are preserved to this day.

Fatima – The Sixth Apparition – October 13, 1917 - Part 2.

The date of the miracle promised by Our Lady, continued.  In our last post, the three children were on their way to the Cova da Iria, where Our Lady promised there would be a great miracle.  It was raining heavily.   Tens of thousands of people were gathering with them.

The moment had arrived.  “Lucia glanced to the east and said to Jacinta, ‘Jacinta, kneel down; Our Lady is coming.  I’ve seen the flash.’”  To the crowds Lucia cried, ‘Silence, silence, Our Lady is coming.’”

“Our Lady came.  Her snow-white feet rested upon the beautiful flowers and ribbons with which [one of the ladies present] had adorned the tree.

“’What does Your Grace want of me?’

’I want a chapel to be built here in My honor.  I am Our Lady of the Rosary.  Continue to say the Rosary every day.  The war will end soon and the soldiers will return to their homes.’

“’I have many things to ask of You:  to heal some sick people and to convert some sinners, etc.’

“’Some, yes; others, no.’

“’ People must amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins.’

“Then growing sadder:  ‘They must not offend Our Lord any more for He is already too much offended.’

“’Do you want anything more?’

“’Nothing more.’

“’Then neither will I ask anything more of You.’

“As Our Lady took leave of the children, She opened her hands which emitted a flood of light.  While She was rising, She pointed towards the sun and the light gleaming from Her hands brightened the sun itself.”

Our Lady takes leave of them:  “’There She goes; there She goes!’ shouted Lucia.”

The promised miracle begins to unfold.

To be continued.
